Apparently they can't do collection orders because of a system update. Wouldn't take the number manually to do it so now need to make another round trip to pick up the order. The girl Paprika was not very helpful and no apology for the inconvenience. Didn't seem to have a clue what she is doing. Would be better if there was some assistance to help if there is someone inexperienced there.

I wish there was the an option for zero stars.Ever since I have lived the UK,I have never experienced any horrific customer service from any shop except argos maidenhead. I bought a sound bar which never powered up,so I returned it a couple of hours(the same day) to the same person who served me.The experience I got was opposite to when I went to collected my item. They refused my collection because a manual was included in the package. This young lady spoke to her manager on the phone who instructed her never to make any return until she sees the paper manual. After explaining my disgust,the lady called the sainsbury manager to come and throw me out.It was a customer service agent who spoke to another branch to help me.At this point, the customer service agent was also baffled. She really did well to assist me resolve the matter. Her word"this doesn't make any sense".I took the product to the other branch who were so helpful and made my return within 5 minutes.Please, I say this to everyone who has self dignity-avoid maidenhead argos.Those who work there have no human empathy.They are time wasters and have no interest of argos at heart especially their manager. They feed their ego by mistreating customers.If maidenhead argos was the last argos shop left opened.I will gladly NOT shop in argos again.Avoid these time wasters and egotistical team of so called professional.Again I wish zero star was an option!

Should have read the reviews first. Argos LIE when they say you have 30 days to return. Not if it's sealed and you have to break said seal to open it. The manager, 55-60 ish glasses; Georgie? was SO rude. I tried to return an item; she refused. Started reading product instructions to show how it was my fault the product was not working. I know the brand well and it was incompatible with my house. I had been a loyal customer for years ... NEVER again.

Went in to ask to see styles of some products as it doesn?t show which ones they have in on the website. The worker only showed me on and then said they ?didn?t have time to show me others? when there was one other customer already being seen by a member of staff. Felt very rude. Wouldn?t recommend!!

All the bad reviews are true there's one lady particularly white, short brunette hair, glasses and wears a red top (possibly even the manager) was so rude looked at me like I was stupid and completely ruined my whole entire day she didnt even bother thoroughly looking into my issue when i got the wrong product due to the catalogue number in the bag which could've been put into the wrong bag in the manufacturing process I was so sweet about it i said it could have been a honest mistake but she looked at me as if I was stupid i don't understand how shes in customer service i wish i caught a name she was absolutely awful I agree with the other gentlemens review go to taplow Argos instead i never have issues there. I'll never be shopping in the maidenhead Argos again.

Absolutely terrible customer service - staff has no manners and have not been trained at all. I definitely would not recommend this store, better to try Taplow Argos if you live in this area.

I tried to return an item which had been opened. Argos customer services had said this was fine.Georgie spoke in a rude tone in front of my young son. Her attitude was shocking. She refused the return. 10 minutes later I returned the item at another Argos site and a was greeted by a really helpful person who went out of his way to help.I will not use this site again.Ps there wasnt an option to rate 0 star!!

I bought an item (Pore Perfection) for £100 back October 22 for the Mrs. She did not have to use it, so kept it aside. After 4 months, she took out the product & found out it was not working. I took the product back to Argos, who declined taking the product back or offering a replacement. Instead, the rude lady at the counter blurted out " our policy is our policy & you will have to contact the manufacturer, as it had gone past 30 days. Are we now to begin testing argos products, once purchased, just to confirm they work?! Such apparent disdain for customers & appalling service ever. I wish there was a 0 star rating! Never trusting argos again,& will revert back to Amazon.

Argos Sainsbury Maidenhead lady by the name Georgie is rude and has an attitude problem. I brought back the Appo phone with in 24-hour because of a camera issue. She told me she was not going to refund me because I opened the phone box. In my head, I'm thinking "how was I supposed to know without opening the box and testing the phone".

Brought a Vax hoover at a cost of £125 but had terrible suction.When I returned it to Maidenhead store the manager said she would not give me a refund because it has been used which was a joke considering there is a 30 day money back guarantee.Under close inspection it was loosing air from a small crack in the casing.If I didn't have a closer look would of been cond be a staff member that doesn't do her job right. Was totally disgusted with her attitude towards her customers.Looks like there money back guarantee means nothing.I won't ever be returning to Argo's as a customer.You have been warned.
