Had my hair done by Alana at Venus today after 4 years of not having a professional haircut! She was absolutely lovely, and made me feel at ease straight away. I felt listened to and love my new haircut. Would readily recommend her to others and I will be back!

Had Yvette cut my hair this evening and it was my first time to Venus. Fantastic consultation and beautiful haircut. Really listened and took time to understand what I wanted and gave great advice on my hair type. Really enjoyed the unique layout of the salon and the Titanic themed room I had my haircut in. WOWWWW.. Well what can I say.. I am an ex hairdresser, and since my long time hairdresser hung up her scissors I have been to quite a few hairdressers, and had one horrific experience, and then the others were just 'ok'A friend recommended I book an appointment with Yvette, and he said that I would love her. As soon as I walked in to the reception I got really nice vibes, and was greeted by a lovely friendly girl.The room that I waited in was absoloutly amazing, it had an eyptian theme. I could hear a customer in a different room really excited about her hair was, and thought.. "at least thats a good sign" lolThen Yvette came out and greeted me, and I instantly felt at ease, which is rare as I start to panic when looking for a new hairdresser, but I felt instantly at ease.Being an ex hairdresser, very very quickly I realised that Yvette really knew her stuff. She was one of the lovliest people I have met in a very long time, and just 'knew' I had found my 'forever' hairdresser.. you are not getting rid of my now Yvette loll..This is the most outstanding service I have ever received, and I can not recommend Venus Hairdresser highly enough, and Im fussy when it comes to hair..loll To be honest I actually felt a bit emotional as it was soul destroying having to keep trying to find a good, let alone an exceptional hairdresser and am just so happy that Yvette was recommended to me. Thank you soo much for the exceptional service and haircut, Ive had a tough few weeks and came out of there over the moon, and to top it all I had my hair cut in the Titanic room :) xx

I visited Venus hairdressers this week. I cannot recommend them highly enough. The moment I walked in I was greeted by a lovely friendly young lady who took me to a wonderful relaxing lounge and brought me drinks and chocolate. After finishing this I was taken to my own individual room where washing, cutting and styling was all done in the same room. Pav who did my hair was excellent. She listened to me. Was gentle and very precise with the way she dealt with my very thin hair. If you are one of those people who prefer to sit and have your hair done in the full view of everyone on the street whilst everyone is listening to your conversation then this is not for you. However, if you want to feel special with complete privacy and attention to detail then Venus is definitely for you. This is by far the best hairdresser I have been to. Believe me for someone who has had multiple bad experiences this is one big compliment. I will certainly be returning.Sue Bartoli

Elysia is my hairstylist, she?s lovely and does an amazing job every time with my hair trims and balayage ???? Poppy has also previously styled my hair, and I loved it. Venus is a lovely salon with individual rooms, so perfect for ladies who wear a headscarf??????or those wanting some privacy. Highly recommend Venus for all your hair needs??

Never been so happy after one single hair appointment, I got recommended by a friend to go and see Elysia and im amazed by what she managed to do with my hair! She was super helpful and explained what she was doing through every step, not to mention that she also did an amazing job <3 I will definitely be coming back to Venus again and have already recommended friends and family to come too!

Nice salon on Bedford high street with quirky interior and decor. Had my hair cut in their private rooms, mine was interestingly harry potter themed. Hijabi friendly. Very happy with my hair cut and styling by Stylist Poppy.
