Product on display but so called No Stock meant we couldn't place order, were asked to come back following week to see if in stock...returned following week product still not in stock but price has gone up ... now the store would take order but its delivery only by paying £35 even though the product is a one person parcel and when I live 2 minutes away from the store... I couldn't work out how is that justifiable...finally ordered from amazon the same product and same price with no charge next day delivery..well done Amazon ...curry's wake up

Not a good storeOperatives need to learn more about items for sale can't call them sales personal as they don't know much about TVTell you a load of useless information.More than 3 ops walking about ignoring customers.Not go go back there

A member of staff helped me find the correct printer etc, he was knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. I did however overhear other members of staff being extremely rude to both waiting customers and each other. This trip could have been very different if I was dealt with like they were.

Awful experiences 3 times in a row. Didn?t have the products I wanted even though they are displayed? Was told they don?t have ANY of the things I needed in stock, and wouldn?t even be able to deliver to store or to home. Why display products if you don?t have them to sell? Don?t waste your time with them- insurance is useless too doesn?t cover hardly anything. Waste of money waste of time.

I wanted to buy a USB Storage device. As I entered 3 staff member were discussing office issues, I waited, waited then one looked, I told him what I wanted, he showed me where they were located. To buy you had to have the item unlocked. I went to ask two staff members dealing with an elderly couple, I waited. Eventually one told me a staff member at the desk could help. She ignored me, picked up a note and marched past me without a glance. I the walked out and bought my USB tool at WH Smith?s where staff actually wanted to serve me.

Was looking for a new replacement laptop. Waited ages for someone to help us. They couldn't and would get another more knowledgeable sales person. That didn't happen. A manager came over and then said he would get someone to help us. After about 20 minutes all in all we gave up and walked out. Ordered a replacement ftom Curry's online shop

Hob. HOTPOINT - TQ 1460SPurchased this hob and it went bang after 12.5 months use. Hotpoint and Currys have confirmed as its over the 12 month guarantee nothing can be done.We have therefore purchased a new hob (different brand). Safe to say we will be switching brands for all our appliances in future.Extremely disappointed with both Hotpoint and Currys as appliances such as this should last a reasonable period of time, and 12.5 months does not fall within this category.

Poor if there is a problem it is never their fault. Pricing is out of date, advertise discount on the label that was two months old when I get to the till, went back to check and the small print date was two months ago. This place never seems to get any better

Product ranges not described in enough detail and staff range from informed to hopeless. Great if you know what you want but be careful of staff selling you their best commission product rather than the one you need with expensive extras.

This store is very misleading with the table at the front with items to clear. I was looking for a wireless speaker and found the same wireless speaker on the items to clear but the price was £20 more than the ones on shelves at the back. So I then asked a member of staff who was very helpful what was going on and she asked a man behind the till and he said it was new not used and we will sell it to you at the same price. Then I asked why it was this speaker was at the front if its new and he had no explanation for this. He was very rude and dismissive. I will not shop here again!

The products are absolutely fantastic. The service is a bit slow, though. One has to go out one's way to look for assistance with a purchase.

I have put 1 star ?? ratings here but I shouldn?t because of the atrocious customer service I received from this store, Where do I start?Well, we received a microwave as a wedding gift from a family member and she was kind enough to use a voucher in case we wanted to change the microwave for a different one, this is exactly how we felt, we wanted a different microwave so we decided to go to our nearest Curry?s in Bedford to either exchange it or get a refund so we could get something different.We live in Huntingdon, Bedford is 15 miles from our house.We went in store and went straight to customer service side adjacent to the stair case, there was a guy set on a high chair who appeared very bored and not bothered at all.We humbly explained our situation to the ?bored guy?and he told us that since it was past ?6pm the head office shuts the systems so he wasn?t able to process either a refund or exchange so he advised us to come the following day ?in time?We did not think about anything about it and we took his word for it.It was time to make our way back home and rearrange the trip again, yes we did!The following day we made another trip and ?in time? we both had to finish work early so that we could get there before 6pm.On arrival we went straight to the same bored guy thinking he would recognise us and would remember our story from the previous visit, no that wasn?t the case, we had to explain all over again by which time he then remembered our previous conversation.Hence why I said he didn?t seem bothered on our previous visit.He asked us if we wanted another different microwave, we asked if we could go and see the range of microwaves upstairs so we could make a decision, he agreed!In less than 10 minutes he followed us upstairs and told us that he had checked in the system and it was impossible ?to either exchange or get a refund in store as we had purchased it online, this was very bizarre! He further explained that he had decided to follow us upstairs so we would not ?waste our time? and we had to do the refund process online.Me and my wife were confused but we believed him, embarrassed, we came down from upstairs were given our microwave and voucher back and we headed outside to the car, we were now frustrated and annoyed, judging by his explanation the process would take at least two weeks.We decided to read what the Curry?s refund policy said and it explicitly said the opposite- choose any store of your choice and you can exchange, refund your goods within 28days as long as the packaging was good and goods in a sellable condition.Were we being illiterate or what?We headed back to the shop with the website open and we showed the same guy what the website said but he rebuffed it and said the website was outdated and that the information was no longer valid? the other girl stood next to him surprisingly supported the statement- what a shame!I didn?t buy this statement and I asked if I could speak with someone, the manager, he refused seconded by another young girl who seemed to support the statement, I insisted on speaking to the manager, his answer was , I have already spoken to him and there?s nothing to talk about anyway. I then told him that curry?s is a big company there?s no way that website was wrong.We felt stupid, ignorant and ignored.He then went and called the Manager, Mo, who came and checked the voucher and processed the refund within 10 minutes. By that time he vanished.When I tried to explain the situation to the manager he kept on saying Don?t Worry I will catch up with them.I only managed to tell him that the customer service was atrocious but he too didn?t seem to bother or even listen to us.To this day, I still don?t understand why we were treated this way, we have the voucher now but can?t be bothered to use it!Will probably donate it!To Currys - marketing is hard we see your advertising everyday and it pulls us into your shops, if I as a customer can identify 3 rotten apples ? in one go, it means the training isn?t matching the marketing.

Ordered a collection for an item from Bedford Curry's only and only because it said it can be COLLECTED TODAY and it was convenient since I was going to bedford anyway. Went there, "order didn't come through" they said, even though I placed an order almost 4 hours ago. Spent about 15 minutes there, talking to staff while they were trying to "troubleshoot" what's going on lol, then they offered me to cancel the order and refund it so I could just buy the same item right out as they have it in stock; I said OK. Then after a couple of minutes they told me they can't do that lol OK. So now, I will have to go all the way from Milton Keynes to Bedford AGAIN, just so I could collect an item which I could of ordered locally.In curry's world - word "today" doesn't actually mean today, it means you can try your luck and see what happens :)
